Service Feature: Web Design
While recently doing some market research, we ran across several companies that do not have web sites. I guess being in the web development business for going on 15 years, we sometimes think everyone has a web site. Surely with all the templates, web easy, web snazzy, jazzy web, site tonight and such, every company would have to have a web site.....right?
The answer is NO. We're not talking about a bad web site (a whole different discussion), we're talking about people who are trying to start or run their business without a online presence. You might as well not have a front door at your office.

Blog Feature: InSourcing (within the USA) vs. Employee Costs
With the recession in full swing, Studio490 wanted to show you the benefits of outsourcing within the USA. We refer to that as InSourcing. You don't have to send work outside our borders to be competitive in your pricing, you just have to reThink how you do business.
Employee side:
The business model of driving 30 min - 2 hours to work is out of date. If you've spent anytime on a highway in rush our traffic, you may have thought the same thing. Think how much money you'd save on gas, not having to commute to the office everyday.
Employer side:
Think of all the talent that is outside of your geographical location that you simply cannot hire. When you take into consideration of the cost of gas, benefits, salary, taxes and other perks, the cost of hiring an employee only to work in your office costs too much.
The reason the Globe has become smaller is due to the internet and the way we communicate. Take that same premise and apply it to today's business model, and that is where smart business is going. We're long over due for a change in the way we do business.
