The cross of Christ and His resurrection are central to our faith as Christians. The reality of Easter is that Jesus Christ died for all humankind, was buried, and rose again--just as He foretold. The resurrection of Christ means hope for this life and an eternal home in Heaven for all believers. Jesus' declared His power over death as he told Martha, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in Me will never die.." (John 11:25-26)
